bird in the moon

i cannot even believe where that letter arrived from. the fact that it came at all is another matter entirely, but that it was sent from there of all places. god, the universe is so strange. 2 cities and a couple hundred miles and a year’s worth of juggling bodies will land the happy trio all back in the same place after who knows what kind of pinballing. so many lines intersecting, over and over and over again and i’m hardly even surprised anymore.

i’m not sure i’m going to be able to open it, but i definitely wish i could take a picture of the air bubbles forming on the inside of my water glass.
